How to play In Sync (This or That) online
- Start a room, pick the Couples or Friends prompts, and send the link to the person you want to play.
- Each round shows two options, like beach holiday or city break. Tap the one you'd pick.
- You both pick at the same time. Your choice stays hidden until they've locked in theirs, so nobody can wait and copy.
- Once you've both picked, the round is revealed. Same side and it counts as in sync.
- There's no winner. You play on the same team, and the score at the end is how many rounds you matched.
- Rematch deals a fresh set of prompts from the same pack.
Why In Sync (This or That) works over a distance
It's the quickest game in the arcade: one tap per round, so ten rounds take a couple of minutes. That makes it a good warm-up at the start of a call, or something to finish on when neither of you wants to hang up yet.
Because you score together, nobody loses. The fun is in the misses. You find out one of you would always pick a night in and the other has been politely going out for months, and suddenly you're talking about it.
The Couples prompts cover dates, visits, calls and the future. The Friends prompts stay light (tea or coffee, window or aisle) and suit a sibling or an old friend in another time zone.

- No. You're on the same team. Every round where you both pick the same side adds to one shared score.
- Can my partner see what I picked before they choose?
- No. Your pick stays on the server until they've locked in theirs, so there's no waiting to copy.
- How is it different from How Well Do You Know Me?
- How Well Do You Know Me asks you to guess the other person's answer. In Sync just asks what you'd pick yourself and shows how often you agree. It's faster, and nobody wins.
- Can I play it on my own?
- No. It needs a real person on the other end. Most other games in the arcade have a solo mode.
